1. What to do if a person bothers you via private message or on your guestbook:
You can block them by going to their profile, scrolling down to the tab area above the guestbook, and clicking on "blocking." This will only keep them from writing you private messages, not from posting on your wall. If they write you a private message, they'll receive a notification that the message was sent out, but it will never reach you.
If you have the feeling that the person doesn't just "not click" with you, but is behaving in a obnoxious / unrespectful way, please report them to the administrators via the report function on the user's profile (upper right corner) or by writing one of the
admins or mods
.
We have an explicit rule that forbids contacting members who have clearly expressed their wish not to be contacted; rule Nr. 3 of our member rules:
This image is hidden for guests.
Please log in or register to see it.
Please make sure that you retain evidence of what this person was doing. If they comment on your wall, leave the comments or make a screenshot and send it to admin(at)hey-ai.com. Just saying "this person was being obnoxious but I deleted everything and I don't clearly remember what he or she said" will make it hard for us to judge the situation.
2. What to do if you feel that a post or a thread in a forum is going in a bad direction or someone is intentionally flaming:
Please use the report function in the forums to bring it to our attention. We're currently a bit understaffed, so we don't manage to read up on everything that happens in the forums. If you feel that something violates our rules, it probably does, and if the admins still don't interfere it doesn't mean that we're tolerating it, but most likely that we haven't noticed it yet. So please help us out ^^
Please also understand that the normal response time to forum problems is 12 hours, but sometimes it may take up to 48 hours until any action is taken.
3. What to do if you notice indecent behavior or rules violations in the chat:
Please report it via the forum report function of the chat post:
/forum/23-site-intern-stuff/1279-cam-chat#1279
Then an available chat admin will try to resolve the situation asap.
Please note that the chat is not a Hey-Ai application and that in addition to the Hey-Ai moderators, the company that is providing it (Tinychat) has also their own moderators. We make it a general rule to explain why someone is being kicked out from the chat immediately before or after (via pm in the latter case). If you're being kicked out or your cam is closed without any explaination, most likely you were kicked out by Tinychat.
Chat bans last 24 hours. A person kicked out from the chat may also get site minuspoints and will be notified about it in this case via pm.
Thanks for your cooperation!
