Learning Spanish ,Moving to South America or Mexico was created by benbie
Hola, I'm Ben. I'm new here, I am born in Australia, and looking to move to South America or Mexico because I work remote.
If you have any travel tips for south America or Mexico, I'd love to know.
I'm also a beginner in Spanish so any help or suggestions would be great.
I'm fluent in English so can help you in conversational English or cities in Australia or around the world I've been to in exchange

Visited Mexico City recently and had a great experience. It was my first trip abroad to a latin country.
Based on what I learned, learning Spanish is super important. Without it, you really can't experience nearly as much as you could knowing it. It's not like in some countries in Europe or Asia where knowing English may be good enough to get around.
People in Mexico City were very nice, and streets were super clean.
Would like to travel to other cities in Mexico and countries in S. America soon.

take lessons. its your quickest way to a little competency. its probably a bit harder now, but you can find international students who speak spanish on gumtree who are willing to give lessons for a reasonable price.
not sure what your level is, so ill just assume total noob. if you insist on learning it yourself, start with the abcd. then work on conjugation rules for common verbs. then common nouns and adjectives. sentence structure can be similar to english, but there can be differences. the goal is to be able to speak and understand like a toddler. from there, you will be better picking this up by immersing yourself in mexico or via lessons locally.
