^loved the manga, the anime did a good job of adapting it

Tony Robbins gives advice about keeping New Year's resolutions:



he basically says to take gradual steps (by having bite-sized rituals/habits), have an exciting vision of what kind of goal you want to reach, understand that people follow through on who they believe they are (which is why they are able to reach those goals), and have extremely high standards for themselves.

a few other notable parts are:

"it's not what we get that makes us happy, it's who we become and what we're able to give to others because we become more." he also said he asked Michael Jordan what made him achieve so much. Jordan said it's his standards and that every day he demanded more from himself than anybody could humanly expect. he also said he's not competing with somebody else, he's competing with what he is capable of. (he knows he is talented, but it took more than talent.)

pretty interesting.
